Kevin McCoy

Kevin McCoy is an accomplished mining professional with extensive experience in operational management and planning within the mining industry. Currently serving as Planning Superintendent at South32 since March 2022, McCoy previously held the position of Operations Superintendent at Nevada Gold Mines, where oversight included the safe and efficient production of multiple underground mines and management of significant personnel. McCoy's career encompasses various roles at Newmont Mining Corporation, Warrior Met Coal LLC, and Walter Energy, among others, focusing on safety, production planning, and team leadership in both coal and gold mining operations. McCoy holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Arizona.
