Logan Pillay

Logan Pillay has extensive experience in process control and improvement within the aluminium production industry, currently holding the position of Engineer at South32 since May 1996, where responsibilities include managing risks, ensuring plant stability, and identifying early failures. Prior to this, Logan worked at BHP Billiton Hillside Aluminium from May 1996 to September 2008, progressing from a Process Operator to an Engineer, engaging in various maintenance and operational tasks. Early career experience includes a role as a Teller at the South African Post Office. Logan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Business Administration and Management from Durban University of Technology, along with a Diploma in Engineering, Electro-Mechanical and a program in Specialist Project Management from the same institution. Education was completed at Welbedene Secondary between 1987 and 1992.
