Matthias Lehmbrock

Matthias Lehmbrock is an experienced procurement and supply chain professional with a robust background in sourcing and managing raw materials for the aluminium and metals industries. Currently serving as Procurement Manager for Major Raw Materials at South32 since September 2015, Matthias has focused on expanding the supplier base while ensuring quality and security of supply. Previous roles included managing supply chain planning and optimization across multiple metal commodities and securing raw materials for aluminium smelters. Prior experience at BHP from 2007 to August 2015 involved planning shipments for crude oil, condensate, LPG, and metals, along with leading project management initiatives for business process design. Matthias completed an internship at Internship Navigation Co. Ltd in 2006 and holds an educational background from FH OOW, Elsfleth, from 2002 to 2007.
