Melinda Henderson

Melinda Henderson is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the Manager of Mine Planning (Global) at South32 since August 2021. Prior to this role, Melinda held various positions at Iluka Resources from January 2007 to August 2021, including Operations Manager for Cataby Mineral Sands Operations and Rehabilitation Operations Manager for WA, along with roles as Principal Mining Engineer and Senior Mining Engineer. Earlier experience includes a position as Mining Engineer at Griffin Coal from January 2005 to December 2006 and a Production Mining Engineer role at Iluka Resources from October 2003 to December 2005, as well as serving as a Geotechnical Engineer at Gold Fields Ltd. from 2001 to 2003. Melinda earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Resource Engineering from The University of Western Australia between 1998 and 2001.
