Ming Liu began their work experience in 1995 as an Electrical Engineer at Daewoo Cement (SHANDONG) Ltd. They were responsible for managing and maintaining the factory SCADA system and conducting fault finding and problem solving on electrical equipment. In 2009, they joined I S Systems Pty Ltd as a Senior Project Engineer, where they were responsible for detailed electrical design, procurement, project documentation, site supervision, and commissioning. In 2017, Ming Liu joined South32 as a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer - Electrical, and later became the Principal Electrical Engineer in January 2019.
Ming Liu completed a Master of Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honors) at the University of Newcastle from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, Ming attained an Associate's Degree in Industrial Electric Automation from Shandong University from 1993 to 1995. Furthermore, Ming obtained a Cert III Electrotechnology Electrician from TAFE NSW in 2014 and 2015. Ming also holds additional certifications including Design and Install Grid Connected Photovoltaic Systems, National Engineering Register, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Electrical Work Licence, Electrician, MIEAust CPEng NER, and RPEQ.
