Simon Collins

Simon Collins is the current Chief Development Officer at South32. Simon has previous experience as the Head of Business Development (Elect) - South32 at BHP Billiton from January 2003 to April 2015. Before that, they were an Associate Management Consultant at Mercer from September 2001 to December 2002. Additionally, Simon has worked as a Mining Engineer at Gold Fields Limited from March 1998 to December 1998 and as a Mining Manager / Underground Manager / Planning Engineer at Renison Goldfields Consolidated from January 1994 to February 1998.

Simon Collins has an MBA from the London Business School, a Grad Dip in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia, and a BE in Mining Engineering from UNSW. Simon also attended Pulteney Grammar School.

Their manager is Graham Kerr, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. They work with Jason Economidis - COO, Vanessa Torres - Chief Technology Officer, and Brendan Harris - Chief Commercial Officer.
