Simon Collins

Simon Collins is currently the Chief Development Officer at South32, where Simon oversees portfolio strategy, mineral exploration, business development, mergers & acquisitions, joint venture management, and project development in the Americas. Simon previously held various roles at BHP Billiton, including Head of Business Development and Vice President of Diamonds Development. Simon also has experience in management consulting at Mercer and engineering roles at Gold Fields Limited and Renison Goldfields Consolidated Limited. Simon holds an MBA from London Business School, a Grad Dip in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia, and a BE in Mining Engineering from UNSW.
