Principal Hydrogeologist at South32

Tomas Goode has extensive experience as a hydrogeologist. Tomas most recently worked at South32 as a Principal Hydrogeologist, where they led hydrology and hydrogeology programs for the Hermosa Site. Prior to that, they worked at MWH (now part of Stantec) as a Supervising Hydrogeologist, overseeing hydrogeologic investigations and groundwater flow modeling projects. Tomas also worked as a Senior Hydrogeologist at MWH, where they focused on developing groundwater models and applying geophysics for hydrogeologic characterization. Earlier in their career, Tomas worked at HydroSystems, Inc as a Senior Hydrogeologist, specializing in groundwater modeling and geophysical analysis. Overall, Tomas has experience in project management, mentoring, well design, and testing related to hydrogeology.

Tomas Goode obtained an A.S. degree in History from Dixie College from 1990 to 1994. Tomas then pursued a B.S. Double Major in Applied Environmental Geoscience and History from Weber State University, completing it in 1998. Tomas continued their education at the University of Arizona, earning an M.S. degree in Hydrology from 1998 to 2000. Tomas later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Hydrology from the same university from 2003 to 2012. Additionally, Tomas Goode gained certification as a Professional Geologist from Arizona in 2005.
