Janet King Cfcipd

Janet King CFCIPD, MBA, serves as the Service Director of HR and Organizational Development at Southampton City Council since January 1989, where responsibilities include strategic HR leadership, HR operations, workforce strategy, and health and safety initiatives. With extensive experience in public sector HR, Janet has a proven track record in implementing complex organizational changes and has held various strategic and operational roles, including HR Strategy Manager and HR Transformation Business Partner. Prior experience includes operational management at Trusthouse Forte. Janet holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a Diploma in Management Studies from Bournemouth University, alongside a BA Hons in English and Art History from the University of Essex, and is a Fellow of the CIPD.
