Josh Allen

Josh Allen currently serves as the Cabinet Member for Communities at Southampton City Council, overseeing various community initiatives including Community Safety and Youth Justice since May 2023. In addition to this role, Josh is the City Council Member for Thornhill Ward, representing the area since May 2023. As Co-CEO of Monty's Community Hub and Bike Hub Manager since 2015, responsibilities include managing a social enterprise focused on cycling and community support. Prior experience includes roles such as Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator at Sustrans, and a range of planning and transport roles with Hampshire County Council. Josh holds a BSc in Physical Geography and an MSc in Climate Change and Development, along with further studies in social enterprise and theology.
