Head Of Digital Engagement at Southbank Centre

Daniel Alicandro has a diverse work experience in the digital engagement and marketing field. Daniel is currently the Head of Digital Engagement at Southbank Centre since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Digital at Shakespeare's Globe from January to December 2022. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as the Head of Digital for English National Ballet. Daniel has also served as the Digital Communications Manager at Roundhouse Trust from 2012 to 2015 and as the Head of Marketing and Sales at Digital Theatre from 2010 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked at Royal Court Theatre as a Deputy Sales Manager, Young Writers Programme Support Worker, and Box Office Sales Assistant. Daniel also worked as a Box Office Sales Assistant at National Theatre and as a Box Office Sales Agent at Roundhouse Trust.

Daniel Alicandro pursued their education at various institutions. In 2001, they enrolled at The University of Edinburgh, where they received a Master's degree in English Literature with honors. Later, in 2005, they attended The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and obtained a Master's degree in MA Advanced Theatre Practice - Dramaturgy. Daniel also acquired additional certifications throughout their career, including the completion of the IP Master Class Training Programme from The UK Intellectual Property Office in September 2018. In September 2015, they obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) from Google. Daniel also completed courses in Creative Technologies and Brand Innovation from Econsultancy in March 2015, Digital Content Strategy in May 2014, and JavaScript Training from City Lit in May 2009.
