Melissa Uss

Assistant Photographer at Southbank Centre

Melissa Uss has a strong background in photography, with a focus on visual storytelling and creative filmmaking. Melissa began their career in 2009 as a freelance photographer and creative filmmaker, where they were responsible for researching, planning, conducting photoshoots, arranging models, and setting up locations. In 2012, they joined MU as a Photographer, and in 2017, they became an Assistant Photographer at Southbank Centre. Throughout their work experience, Melissa has honed their skills in creating captivating visual narratives.

Melissa Uss completed their education at the University of Westminster from 2016 to 2021, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Photography. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Photography from the University of West London. Melissa also holds certifications in various Adobe software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe InDesign. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Graphic Design from a private institution in 2004.
