Kate Butterfield

Kate Butterfield currently serves as the National Sustainability Advisor and National Environment, Social and Governance Advisor at Southbase Construction, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this, Kate worked at Environment Canterbury as a Resource Management Officer II and I from January 2021 to December 2022. Earlier experience includes a role as a Residential Assistant at Lincoln University (NZ) from February 2017 to November 2020. In terms of education, Kate holds a Master of Environmental Policy and Management (2019-2020) and a Bachelor of Environmental Management (2016-2018) from Lincoln University (NZ), along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Science (2021-2025) and a National Certificate in Diving (Level 3) from Dive Zone Whitianga (2021-2022).
