Stephanie Matthews, LMHC has extensive experience in the mental health field, currently serving as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at South Bay Community Services since August 2009, where responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload of approximately 40 individuals across various settings. Previous roles include a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Oasis Behavioral Health Institute, an Art Therapy/Guidance Intern at Trottier Middle School and Neary Elementary School, and internships at notable institutions such as McLean Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children. Stephanie holds a MA in Expressive Therapies with a focus in Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and a BFA in Creative Arts Therapy from Endicott College. Additionally, Stephanie is pursuing registration in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and is involved in various therapeutic initiatives, including crisis intervention and providing expressive therapy services.
