Jason Sands has a extensive work experience in the engineering field. Jason started their career as a Design Draftsman at Link Belt in 2000. Jason then worked as a Design Engineer at Taylor Company from 2001 to 2003. After that, they joined Duke Manufacturing as a Product Engineer from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they worked at Delfield Company as a Product Engineer from 2007 to 2009, and later as a Product Engineer II at Manitowoc / Delfield-Covington from 2009 to 2012. Jason then joined The Delfield Company as a Project Manager / Engineer, overseeing new product development from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Welbilt Inc. as the Engineering Lab Manager for Delfield, responsible for managing the lab facility and ensuring its smooth operation. Jason later became the Engineering Manager for Delfield at Welbilt Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are the Vice President of Engineering & Operations at Southbendnc, overseeing all engineering activities and aspects related to new product design, testing, manufacturing engineering, and production introduction.

Jason Sands attended Kirkwood Community College from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Design.
