Scott Mitchell

Pediatric Physical Therapist at Southcentral Foundation

Scott Mitchell has extensive experience in physical therapy, currently serving as a Pediatric Physical Therapist at Southcentral Foundation since August 2022. Prior to this role, Scott was the Chief of Rehabilitation at Indian Health Service - Kayenta Health Center from September 2017 to August 2022 and held the position of Chief of Physical Therapy at Indian Health Service - Hopi Health Care Center from July 2015 to September 2017. Scott also has military experience as a TBI Physical Therapist for the U.S. Army from March 2010 to July 2015, where oversight included a multidisciplinary team for TBI treatment at Fort Hood, Texas, the largest Army post. Earlier in Scott's career, Scott served as Chief of Physical Therapy at Indian Health Service from June 2005 to March 2010 and as a Physical Therapist for the Federal Bureau of Prisons from July 2001 to June 2005. Educationally, Scott holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Baylor University and a Master of Physical Therapy from the U.S. Army - Baylor University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy.
