Cheryl Rau

Cheryl Rau, RHIA, CHPC, currently serves as the Manager of Coding Education and Revenue Integrity at Southcoast Health since September 2023. Prior to this role, Cheryl held the position of Corporate Compliance Manager at Signature Healthcare from December 2021 to September 2023. Cheryl's experience includes serving as HIM Operations Manager at Sturdy Memorial Hospital from July 2020 to July 2022, Director of Health Information at Good Samaritan Medical Center from July 2018 to July 2020, and Director of Health Information Management/Privacy Officer at both HealthSouth Braintree Rehab Hospital from June 2017 to June 2018 and UHS from July 2014 to July 2017. Cheryl Rau obtained a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management/Administration from Fisher College and also attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
