Linda Hevenor has a strong background in healthcare spanning multiple leadership roles. From 2016 to the present, they have been the Vice President of Clinical Operations, Primary Care and Population Health at Southcoast Health. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of Nursing, Clinical Quality, and Patient Safety at Southcoast Health from 2018 to 2020. Before joining Southcoast Health, Linda worked at Lifespan from 2012 to 2016, where they held positions such as Director of Patient Safety and Manager of Quality and Patient Safety at Hasbro Children's Hospital. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing patient safety programs and developing initiatives to improve quality and safety outcomes.
Linda Hevenor obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, Pre-medicine from Occidental College in the period of 1990-1993. From 1996-1999, they pursued their MPH and MS degrees in Epidemiology/Biostatistics and Human Nutrition at Tufts University School of Medicine. Linda then attended Simmons University from 2000-2002 to obtain their BSN degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. In 2013-2016, Linda completed their Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in Health Care Quality at The George Washington University. In addition to their degrees, they obtained a certification as a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) in December 2015 from the American Society for Professionals in Patient Safety.
