Sharon Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over the years. Sharon began their career in 2004 as a Program Manager for the State Legislative Leaders Foundation, where they worked until 2010. In 2012, they transitioned to Cape Cod Healthcare as a Quality Assurance Analyst for a year. From 2013 to 2015, Sharon served as the Practice Manager for Hematology Oncology Specialists of Cape Cod. Continuing their healthcare journey, they joined Southcoast Health in 2015 as a Practice Administrator for Orthopedics until 2018, where they then took on the role of Director of Operations for the Surgery Care Center.
Sharon Smith obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and public relations from Bridgewater State University in 1999-2003. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on nonprofit and healthcare administration at Suffolk University from 2006 to 2008.
