Yamil Sanchez Rivera

Yamil Sanchez Rivera, EdD, MEd, MBA, currently serves as the Superintendent for the Southeast Delco School District, beginning in April 2024. Previously, Yamil held positions as Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Chief Administrative Officer in the Reading School District from January 2020 to April 2024, overseeing various operations including athletics and communications. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Community Impact at the United Way of Berks County, Executive Director at Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley, and Head of School at I-LEAD Charter School. Yamil's educational background includes a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Lehigh University, an MBA from the same institution, a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Kutztown University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Villanova University.
