John R. Bierly

John Bierly currently holds multiple executive roles at SEES Group, including President, Chief Medical Officer, Board Member, and Vice President since February 2017. John has also served as a Board Member for SCENIC LAND COMPANY, LLC since July 2007 and as a Founding Partner and Medical Director at SouthEast Eye Specialists since September 1999. Prior experience includes an Assistant Professorship in Ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where John directed both the UK's Lions Eye Bank and Eye Clinic from August 1992 to July 1999. Educational achievements include an Executive MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School (2022), an MD from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University (1986), and a BA in Natural Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University (1981).
