Ruby Gethers

Ruby Gethers is an experienced paralegal with a diverse background in legal support and administration. Currently serving as a Paralegal II at the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority and Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority East since March 2015, Ruby also holds a position as a Litigation Paralegal at the Law Office of Randal L. Gaines, providing essential contract services. Ruby's prior experience includes roles as Deputy Director/Paralegal at Castano Tobacco Litigation, where responsibilities involved managing document depository operations and coordinating trial support, and as a Paralegal at Texaco USA, focusing on environmental and health issues. Ruby holds a Post Baccalaureate Certification in Paralegal Studies from the University of New Orleans Metropolitan College and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of New Orleans.
