Cal Haupt

Cal Haupt has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Cal served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Southeast Mortgage of Georgia, Inc., where they played a key role in transforming the company into the largest local non-bank mortgage originator in Georgia. Operating in multiple states, Cal Haupt redefined the concept of adding value to Partners. Prior to their role at Southeast Mortgage, they held various positions at First Atlanta, First Wachovia, Barnett Bank, and First Union. During this time, Cal Haupt worked in a range of roles such as Commercial Credit Analyst, Consumer Lending, Commercial Lending, Commercial Banking, Mortgage Banking, Series 6&63 Securities, Cash Management, General Operations, Bank Engineering. Cal was responsible for managing a group with assets of 3.2 billion, overseeing Consumer, Small Business, Mutual Fund Sales, Insurance Sales, Mortgage, and Service Delivery through their Branch Network.

Cal Haupt completed their education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained a BSMGT degree in Accounting, Finance, and Management in 1987. Prior to that, they attended Benedictine Military School from 1979 to 1982. Additionally, Cal has obtained certifications in Commercial and Consumer Credit Analysis from the Banking Industry in 1990, as well as in Accounting & Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1987.
