Southeast Veterinary Neurology
● Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
● Maintain a customized chart of accounts aligned with veterinary industry standards.
● Oversee purchasing and payable procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
● Monitor cash balances and manage cash cycles effectively to support the operational needs of the hospital.
● Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and budget variance reports.
● Compile additional financial and business reports as required for management review.
● Implement and maintain robust internal controls within all accounting processes to safeguard the organization’s assets.
● Act as a financial advisor to the CEO, providing insights into financial performance and identifying areas of concern or opportunity.
● Ensure all financial activities comply with established policies and legal regulations.
● Lead the budgeting process, including the development of financial models, forecasts, and variance analysis.
● Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
