Doug Wehrkamp is the President and COO at SEC, he joined in 1993 as the Engineering Manager and also served as the General Manager for both the NH and VA operations. Doug then served as the Corporate Technical Director prior to assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer and President in 2012. Doug has over 33 years of PET manufacturing experience starting with Owens Illinois in Toledo, OH in 1984, followed by time with Apple Container, a PET manufacturing operations for New York Coca-Cola Bottling Company prior to join SEC.
Doug earned his BS in Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton and his Masters in Finance from Seton Hall University. He also earned the Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of Notre Dame.

Southeastern Container, Inc. was formed by a group of independent Coca Cola bottlers in the early 80's to produce their own PET packaging needs, and has grown to be one of the world's largest and most respected PET processors. Today SEC ships PET preforms and bottles to over fifty Coca-Cola bottling and co-packing operations in the United States and Canada, stretching from Quebec to Florida and as far west as Montana,covering thirty-four states and six Canadian provinces.
