Anthony Hucker

Anthony T. Hucker has had an extensive career in the retail industry, holding various senior leadership roles over the years. Anthony worked at Aldi UK from 1990 to 1999, where they held various senior leadership positions. Anthony then joined GTECH in 1999 as the Vice President for the Asia Pacific region. In 2004, Hucker moved to Walmart, where they served as the Corporate VP until 2011. Anthony then joined Giant Food as President from 2011 to 2013. Following that, Hucker worked at Schnuck Markets, Inc. as the President and Chief Operating Officer from 2013 to 2015. Anthony is currently working at Southeastern Grocers, where they serve as the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Member of the Board of Directors.

Anthony T. Hucker has a BA Honours in Retail Marketing from The Manchester Metropolitan University, completed in 1989. In 1988-1989, they also obtained a DipM in International Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Additionally, they have completed several executive education programs, including ones in Technology from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2003, in Strategy from The Wharton School in 2009, in Leadership, Change & Organizational Renewal from Harvard Business School in 2010, in Mergers & Acquisitions from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2010, in Executive Leadership Academy from Harvard Business School in 2012, and in Board Governance from Harvard Business School in 2019. Anthony is currently enrolled in the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, starting in 2023.
