Brian Carney

Brian Carney has extensive work experience in finance and management. Brian started their career as an Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1982 and worked there until 1989. Brian then joined Revco Drug Stores as SVP Finance and held this position until 1997, when they moved to Jo-Ann Stores, LLC. as EVP and CFO. Brian Carney worked at Jo-Ann Stores, LLC. for eight years before joining Southeastern Grocers in 2005 as EVP and CFO, where they are currently employed.

Brian Carney obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Dayton, graduating in 1982. Brian has also obtained a CPA certification from AICPA, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are unknown.
