Kevin Waters has over fifteen years of experience working in local government as a planner. Kevin is currently the Interim Director of Planning & Transport at Southend on Sea Borough Council. Kevin has also worked as a Senior Planner at Epping Forest District Council and as Deputy Planning Manager and Planner at Barnet Council. Kevin is highly experienced in all aspects of the planning process, from developing planning policy to making decisions on individual planning applications. Kevin is a strong advocate for good quality design and ensuring that new development enhances and improves the built environment.

Kevin Waters has a MSc in Town Planning from UCL and a BSc in Geography from Queen Mary University of London. Kevin is also certified by the Royal Town Planning Institute as a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
