Pete Barker

Pete Barker, PE, has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as Engineering Department Manager at Southern Air Inc since April 2013, overseeing a team responsible for diverse construction projects across various markets, including industrial and commercial sectors. Previous roles include Project Manager for plant upgrades at AREVA NP in Germany and Engineering Department Manager at Southern Air, Inc., focusing on turnkey design-build MEP contracting. Additional experience includes Program Manager at CommScope, overseeing product line and customer interfaces, Lead Engineer and Project Manager at Innerspec Technologies and Babcock & Wilcox CIM Systems, and Mechanical Engineer at Wiley & Wilson, where engineering studies and design specifications were developed. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Lynchburg.
