Michael Magee

Michael Magee, PhD, serves as the Head of the AI tools and training working group at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and is a member of the AI Steering Committee, where leadership focuses on strategically implementing AI technologies and developing training programs. With extensive experience in program design, Michael has launched numerous future-focused certificates, diplomas, and degrees, particularly in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and financial technology. As Chief Digital Officer and General Manager at NeuroStrategy Workforce Operations Support & Training Solutions, Michael specializes in leveraging emerging technologies to enhance workforce development. Previous roles include senior consulting for the United Nations, Chief Marketing Officer at BIXnets, and Chief Operating Officer at several tech startups, culminating in a PhD in Educational Technology from the University of Calgary.
