Tom Wang

Tom Wang is an experienced international projects specialist currently working at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology since November 2022. Previously, Tom served on the Board of Directors for the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association, where responsibilities included expanding membership and organizing events for networking and market intelligence. Tom's background also includes roles as a global partnerships specialist at the University of Calgary and as a manager for market support and partnership development at the BC Council for International Education. Earlier, Tom gained valuable experience as a business development manager for the Government of British Columbia in Guangzhou, China, and as a trade and visa officer at the Consulate General of Sweden. Tom holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
