Drew Covert

Drew Covert has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Bank and Trust Company since April 1998. Prior to this role, Drew worked at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from January 1991 to April 1998 as a Financial Institution Examiner, where responsibilities included conducting examinations of financial institutions with asset sizes ranging from $12 million to $6 billion. Drew Covert holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from East Carolina University, completed studies at the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University between 2001 and 2003.
