Robert Feamster has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Robert started their career in 1998 in the US Army and served there as an NCO until 2006. After that, they worked in various roles at different banks, including Bank of America as a Small Business Direct Sales employee from 2002 to 2006, RBC as a Banking Center Manager from 2006 to 2011, Yadkin Bank as a Banking Center Manager from 2011 to 2015, and South State Bank as a Banking Center Manager from 2015 to 2016. Robert then worked at Sound Bank as a Retail and Small Business Banker from 2016 to 2017, providing banking solutions and managing portfolios. Since 2018, Robert has been working at Southern Bank and Trust Company as a Vice President and Customer Experience Manager.

Robert Feamster earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Lees-McRae College, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Apart from their academic education, they also obtained additional certifications. Robert became a CXPA Professional Member through the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) in February 2022. In August 2019, Robert completed a Bank Management course at the North Carolina School of Banking, which is affiliated with the North Carolina Bankers Association.
