Amanda Porter has over two decades of experience in the banking industry, currently serving as Vice President Accounting Operations Officer at Southern Bank since March 2001. Amanda's responsibilities include leading financial statement validation, general ledger system conversion, and vendor communication as part of the bank's acquisition team for a financial institution with $4 billion in assets. Previously, Amanda held roles such as Financial Reporting Officer, Internal Auditor, Controller, and Assistant Controller, demonstrating expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance. Amanda began the banking career as a bank teller at First Midwest Bank and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University.
