David McClain

David McClain is an experienced professional currently serving as an Insurance Agent at State Farm ® since January 2021, with prior experience as an Agent Intern. David has also held a position on the Member Board of Directors at Southern Bank since October 2022 and serves as an Alderman for Ward 6, Position 2 in the City of Jonesboro since January 2017. Previously, David was the Executive Director at Arkansas State University from April 2011 to January 2021 and worked as a Field Representative for the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2009 to January 2011. David holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Arkansas State University, obtained between 2014 and 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the same institution, completed in 2007.
