Erica Blackwell

Erica Blackwell, P.E. has extensive experience in engineering, primarily with SoCalGas since November 2016. In the role of Gas Transmission Planning Engineer II and previously as Engineer I, Erica designed and planned gas transmission and storage systems, performed hydraulic analysis, evaluated system impacts, and prepared technical assessment reports for the CPUC. Prior experience includes positions as Distribution Engineer I and Distribution Associate Engineer, where technical analysis was conducted on distribution systems, project impacts were assessed, and emergency responses were coordinated. Erica began the career as an Engineering Intern, successfully achieving audit goals and conducting gas load surveys. Erica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
