Seik Park

Seik Park, D.Eng. P.E., is a highly experienced professional in the field of hydrogen and gas turbine combustion, currently serving as a Senior Engineer - Hydrogen at SoCalGas since August 2024, focusing on hydrogen blending research and development. Prior to this role, Seik contributed to the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) as a member of the Generation Sector Council's Gas Steering Committee, where advisory responsibilities included creating technology roadmaps and leading projects on ammonia combustion for power generation. Seik’s extensive tenure at Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) includes roles such as Principal Research Engineer and Senior Manager on Carbon Neutral Policy, where leadership in experimental research and carbon-neutral energy strategies were central. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology and advanced degrees in mechanical engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and Yonsei University.
