Avi Ishaaya

Avi Ishaaya, MD, FCCP, FAASM, FACGS, MACGS serves as the Chief of Medicine at DOCS Surgical Hospital, LLC since March 2018, while also holding the position of Medical Director for the Respiratory Therapy Department at Southern California Hospitals since January 2016. In addition, Avi Ishaaya has been the President of Abraham Ishaaya MD APC since March 2002, focusing on the operation and expansion of a private practice with a commitment to patient care and comfort. Since 1998, Avi Ishaaya has contributed as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA Health System and previously held the role of Corporate Medical Director at Country Villa Health System from May 2006 to August 2014, and served as a Medical Consultant for MAXIMUS from February 2009 to April 2012. Avi Ishaaya earned an MD in Medicine from the University of Maryland Baltimore (1986-1990) and a BS from UCLA (1983-1986).
