Russell Thomsen

Russell Thomsen is a distinguished architectural professional with extensive experience in both practice and education. As the Founding Principal of RNThomsenARCHITECTURE since 2014, Thomsen has led numerous projects while also contributing to the academic field as a Design Studio Professor at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) since 1994. Previous partnerships include co-founding IDEA and Central Office of Architecture (COA), and serving as an Architectural Designer at Richard Meier & Partners, Jim Jennings Architecture, and Superstudio in Italy. Thomsen's educational background includes a degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
