Avery Cunningham

Avery Cunningham is a multifaceted author and editorial professional with extensive experience in the literary field. Currently serving as an author at Disney Publishing Worldwide, Avery's forthcoming work, THE MAYOR OF MAXWELL STREET, is set for publication in January 2024. In addition to authorship, Avery operates a freelance editorial service focused on developmental and content editing. Previous roles include assistant editor at Narrative Magazine, acquisitions editor at Atticus Books, program manager at The Memphis Challenge, and ghostwriter for LifeBook. Avery has also contributed as a writing fellow and tutor at DePaul University, along with event management experience at the Chicago Literary Hall of Fame. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Writing and Publishing and a Bachelor of Arts in English from DePaul University.
