Rebecca Smietana has extensive experience in admissions and student services within higher education, currently serving as the Senior Director of Admissions and Student Services at Southern College of Optometry since May 2021. Prior roles at Southern College of Optometry include Assistant Director of Admissions and Student Services and Student Services and Admissions Officer. Rebecca's experience also encompasses serving as the Director of Partner Relations at Global Learning Collective and various positions in intercultural programs at the Center for Global and Intercultural Study, University of Michigan. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Michigan-Flint.
