Andrew Vondrak has a diverse work experience in the energy industry, primarily focusing on information and data governance, GIS, and asset management systems. Andrew started their career at Piedmont Natural Gas in 2001, where they served as an Operations Systems Administrator, Manager of the GIS department, and Manager of Asset Management Systems. During their time at Piedmont Natural Gas, they played a significant role in upgrading and implementing enterprise asset management systems. In 2014, Andrew joined Southern Company Gas as the Director of GIS & Asset Data Services, where they were responsible for setting strategic and technical directions for the company's GIS and asset management systems. Andrew recently transitioned to the role of Director of Enterprise Decision Support and Data Governance, overseeing all data and information governance processes. Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving data integrity, quality, and availability while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Andrew Vondrak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Utah. Andrew has also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Piedmont Natural Gas in 2012.
