Jay Puckett

Jay Puckett is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Financial Professional at Southern Company Gas since February 2023, Jay also holds the position of Founder & Treasurer at Patriot Legacy Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to providing scholarships for the dependents of service-disabled veterans. As a Corporate Finance Consultant with Polaris Financial Group, Jay specializes in developing financial models and analyzing statements to aid business decision-making. Previous roles include Finance Project Consultant at UHY Consulting, Sr. Manager of Corporate FP&A at Asbury Automotive Group, and Manager of Finance at DataPath, Inc., among others. Jay’s career began in the US Air Force, where various technical roles were undertaken, leading to a strong academic foundation with a BS in Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, an MBA, and an MS in Finance from recognized institutions.
