Mary Kathryn Jones

Mary Kathryn Jones, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies in the energy industry. Mary Kathryn is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Southern Company Gas since 2022. Prior to this, they held roles at Georgia Power Company where they served as a Maintenance Team Leader from July 2021 to March 2022 and as a Senior Engineer from February 2019 to July 2021. Mary Kathryn also worked at Alabama Power Company where they worked as a System Owner from December 2016 to February 2019, as a System Owner/Combined Cycle Engineer from May 2013 to December 2016, and as a Project Engineer from June 2012 to May 2013. Mary started their career as a Cooperative Education Student at Southern Power from May 2008 to August 2011.

Mary Kathryn Jones, PMP received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in English from The University of Alabama in 2012. Mary Kathryn has also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2023.
