Brenda Fischer

Brenda Fischer is an experienced Environmental Specialist Principal at Southern Company, where management of contracting, budgeting, and compliance activities is overseen within the Environmental Solutions department since September 2014. Prior to this role, Brenda served as the Compliance and Support Manager at Georgia Power Company for over 12 years, leading safety, environmental, and emergency response efforts across six power plants. Earlier positions include Analytical Instrument Technician at Battelle, Environmental Inspector at Westinghouse Electric Company, and Supervisor of Residential Services at The Learning Tree. Brenda holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, both from Jacksonville State University.
