Duane Brooks

Duane Brooks has over 25 years of experience in information technology, primarily with Southern Company since September 1998. Currently serving as the Outage Management Applications Team Leader, Duane oversees critical outage management software and manages system updates. Previous roles include Technology Planning Analyst, Specialist, where responsibilities involved optimizing technology investments and providing thought leadership on emerging technologies, and various analytical and managerial positions focusing on strategic partnerships and IT governance. Early career experience includes systems analysis roles at Healthcare Recoveries and Hilliard Lyons. Duane holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Penn State University, completed in 1996.
