Jon Haygood

Jon Haygood is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Assistant Treasurer at Southern Company, Jon has also held positions such as Director of Finance and Manager of Risk Control. In addition to corporate responsibilities, Jon volunteers as the Treasurer for the iCAN Research Board of Directors. As Managing Partner at Petit Sweets Confectionery, LLC, and a consultant in private practice, Jon demonstrates entrepreneurial expertise. Prior experience includes managing asset management and structuring roles at Mirant. Jon holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned between 1993 and 1998.
