J'Qoya Sanders

J'Qoya Sanders is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on transmission line design. Currently serving as the Transmission Line Design Team Lead and previously as a Transmission Line Design Engineer at Southern Company since January 2016, J'Qoya is responsible for the design and technical support of transmission lines within the company's transmission system. Prior experience includes an internship at Barnhart Crane & Rigging from May to August 2015, where J'Qoya worked in research and development, testing materials for rigging and lifting applications to ensure compliance with design standards. J'Qoya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University, earned in 2015.
