Matt Osborn

Matt Osborn is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in transmission line engineering. Currently serving as Team Leader of Transmission Line Engineering at Southern Company since March 2019, Matt previously held roles as Transmission Line Maintenance Engineer at Georgia Power Company and Transmission Line Design Engineer at Southern Company. Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a Distribution Coop Engineer and a Distribution Planning Coop Engineer at Alabama Power Company. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama, which was completed in 2010.
