Patty Bode

Patty Bode is an accomplished educator with a focus on art education and social justice, currently serving as Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Art Education Program at Southern Connecticut State University since August 2020. As the founder of the Remember Love Recovery Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to destigmatizing addiction through art and education, Patty Bode actively works to enhance human connection and address the societal impacts of addiction. Previous roles include Interim Assistant Dean at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Assistant Professor at Westfield State University, Interim Principal at Amherst Regional Middle School, and Magnet Resource Teacher at Springfield Conservatory of the Arts. Additionally, Patty Bode has held visiting faculty positions at The Ohio State University and served as Director of Art Education at Tufts University. Patty Bode earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
