Debi Ellis

Debi Ellis has a diverse work experience, with a focus on healthcare. Debi is currently serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer at Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Chief Nursing Officer from May 2019 to June 2021, and before that, they worked as a Case Manager/Utilization Review at the same organization from June 2017 to May 2019.

Apart from their work at Southern Coos Hospital, Debi also has experience as an Owner Operator at Bandon Yoga Hive since June 2019.

In addition, Debi worked as an Adjunct Nursing Instructor at Solano Community College from October 2016 to October 2017, and as an Emergency Room RN at Sutter Health from May 2016 to May 2017.

Earlier in their career, Debi held various roles at Kaiser Permanente, including Manager PACU/PREOP from March 2014 to May 2016, Assistant Manager Emergency from March 2013 to March 2014, Emergency Room RN from October 2009 to March 2013, and Registered Nurse ICU from July 2006 to October 2009.

Debi Ellis pursued their education starting from 2014 to 2016 at Walden University, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Continuing their educational journey, from 2021 to 2023, Debi attended Walden University again, this time undertaking a Master of Healthcare Administration program. Debi'sfield of study during their master's degree was Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
